Sidecar X Stumptown
We've teamed up with Portland's own Stumptown Coffee Roasters to bring the OC some seriously good coffee.
Sidecar Doughnuts & Coffee is a specialty doughnut and coffee shop located in the popular 17 Street corridor in Costa Mesa. Here at Sidecar, we infuse an exciting, soulful energy into the art of doughnut making, using only the finest ingredients possible, and frying in small batches on the hour in order to ensure the World's Freshest Doughnut every time! From the moment you bite into one of Sidecar’s delectable treats, you will surely agree that these are no ordinary doughnuts. Located at 270 E. 17th Street in Costa Mesa and open every day from 6:30am to 4:00pm. Open late on Fridays and Saturdays until 9:00pm!
Our doughnuts are made daily, from scratch, using simple recipes, and only the finest ingredients possible. We use fresh, seasonal products, and never add preservatives or artificial flavors/colors. Everything is made in house, from real ingredients – infused glazes, hand crushed jams, flavored creams, and even a homemade pie-crust to use as a crumbled topping. Our doughnuts are fried throughout the day, guaranteeing each customer a fresh and warm treat. Flavor selection changes monthly, with a weekly Gluten Free option that changes every Monday.

Amaretti & Peach ($3.25)
peach cake doughnut made with fresh yellow peaches and almond extract, topped with a peach and amaretto liquor glaze, and finished with an amaretti cookie streusel
Rocky Road ($3.50)
Inspired by Dreyer's Rocky Road Ice Cream, our one-of-a-kind chocolate raised doughnut, filled with Callebaut chocolate chips, topped with chocolate ganache, toasted almonds, and house made vanilla marshmallows.
Blackberry & Rose Geranium ($3.75)
raised and topped with a blackberry glaze, house made blackberry compote of fresh berries, rose geranium, and Cabernet; finished with fresh whipped cream and an edible rose geranium petal... fun fact: rose geraniums are straight from Chef Brooke's personal garden!
Banana Puddin' ($3.75)
our take on the classic Southern dessert, raised and topped with house made banana puddin', banana glaze, and a banana brulee; finished with crumbled Nilla wafers.
Apple Fritter ($3.00)
our version of the classic, made with fresh Granny Smith apples and topped with Madagascar Vanilla glaze.
Butter & Salt ($2.75)
vanilla bean cake with brown butter glaze and fleur de sel
Oregon huckleberry cake doughnut with huckleberry glaze
Saigon Cinnamon Crumb ($2.75)
slightly sweet, slightly spicy Saigon cinnamon cake doughnut, topped with sweet glaze and a house made cinnamon crumble.
Maple Bacon ($3.50)
raised doughnut topped with pure Vermont maple syrup glaze and crisp Niman Ranch bacon
Madagascar Vanilla Twist ($2.25)
raised twist with vanilla bean glaze
Country Ham & Eggs ($5.25)
a savory treat… raised and filled with poached egg, Benton's Ham, and a house made basil Hollandaise sauce. *Only served until 11am.
Buttermilk Drops ($1.25 each / 3 for $3.00)
buttermilk and nutmeg cake doughnut drops, dipped in vanilla bean glaze
Weekly Gluten Free* ($4.00)
a delicious take on one of our unique doughnut flavors, made with gluten free flour. a new flavor is offered starting every Monday.

*Our gluten-free doughnuts are NOT allergy-free. They are prepared in the same workspace and fryer/oils as our regular doughnuts.
Hence, people with severe allergies to gluten should refrain from consuming these items.
*Most our doughnuts contain almond flour and/or almond extract.
Since coffee is the essential companion to a good doughnut, Sidecar is proud to bring Orange County the much sought-after Stumptown Coffee. We teamed up with these popular Portland-based coffee roasters, to develop our very own Sidecar Signature Blends: Forty Winks and Colt's Tooth. We also serve Stumptown's infamous Cold Brew Stubbies, as well as offer coffee beans by the bag.
